Maduka University, located at Ekwegbe, Nsukka, Enugu State, has opened applications for the 2026/2027 academic session. The private university offers undergraduate programmes in medicine, law, nursing, pharmacy, engineering, computing, business and the social sciences. Applicants can come in through JAMB, Direct Entry, transfer or the IJMB programme.
Tuition by faculty
Fees are charged per session. The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences costs ₦800,000 and covers Accounting, Economics, Mass Communication, International Relations and Diplomacy, and Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
The Faculty of Computing and Engineering costs ₦900,000. Its programmes are Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences has the widest range of fees:
- Public Health, Anatomy, Physiology and Physiotherapy: ₦900,000
- Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography and Optometry: ₦1,200,000
- Medicine and Surgery: ₦4,210,000
- Nursing, Pharmacy and Law each cost ₦1,710,000 per session.
Other costs to plan for
- Application form: ₦5,000
- Acceptance fee: ₦50,000, which is non-refundable
- Feeding: pay as you eat
- IJMB programme: ₦800,000, paid in one instalment
Other students can pay in two parts, with 60 percent first and 40 percent later. The published fee list does not include a figure for accommodation, so applicants should ask the admissions office what a hostel space costs.
Who can apply
JAMB candidates need a score of 150 or above in the 2026 UTME, and they must also meet the requirements of the programme they choose. During the application, you will enter your JAMB details and your O'Level results. The portal accepts WAEC, NECO and NABTEB results, and you can combine results from up to two sittings.
The admissions portal has separate application routes for JAMB Entry, Direct Entry and IJMB. Transfer students are also accepted.
