IAUE Batch 3 Supplementary Admission List Is Out, and the Deadline Is October 31

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) in Port Harcourt has released another supplementary admission list for the 2026/2027 session. The university’s website calls it Batch 3, while the PDF itself is titled Batch C. Both names refer to the same list, which covers UTME candidates and carries an October 8, 2026 publication date.

The document runs to 235 pages, and the names start on page 4. Candidates are grouped by faculty and department, and each entry shows the JAMB registration number, state of origin and the course offered. Administration and Management candidates appear first, followed by Agriculture and Education. If you applied to IAUE, download the PDF from the university website and search for your name or JAMB number.

According to the Registrar’s office, everyone on the list went through physical screening and biometric enrolment, and was then ranked using their UTME scores.

How to accept your admission

Acceptance involves both the JAMB portal and a text message. Here is the order to follow:

  1. Log in to JAMB CAPS and confirm the admission shows against your profile.

  2. Pick up the phone number linked to your JAMB profile. The message will only be accepted from that line.

  3. Text your JAMB registration number, then a space, then the word ACCEPT (or REJECT if you are turning the offer down). For example: 202651991244FA ACCEPT

  4. Send it to either 55019 or 66019.

  5. Wait for the confirmation reply. It may even show your photo.

  6. Print your admission letter and result slip. The university says both must be in colour, because you will need them for clearance and registration.

Dates to keep in mind

  • Monday, October 12: acceptance fee payment opens for this batch.

  • Saturday, October 31: deadline for this batch, three weeks after publication.

  • Clearance in the faculties and departments has been going on since Monday, August 31, so there is no need to wait for a special start date.

If your name is not on this list

Do not read too much into it yet. IAUE says supplementary lists for UTME, Direct Entry, JUPEB and Basic are still in progress, so more names will be added as JAMB approves them. In the meantime, a few things are worth checking:

  • Your O’level upload. On CAPS, open “My O’level result” and make sure it shows as uploaded. If the status says “Awaiting Result”, the university cannot process your admission. You can upload at any accredited JAMB CBT centre or at the IAUE ICT centre.

  • Transfer approval. Based on your UTME and O’level combination, the university may recommend a different course from the one you chose. You will see this under the “Transfer Approval” link on CAPS. Accept it and IAUE can admit you into the new programme. Reject it and you stay in your original choice, with no transfer.

  • Direct Entry and JUPEB candidates. Upload your A’level and O’level results to avoid disqualification.

  • Using a phone. CAPS often shows only a welcome message on mobile. Open it in Chrome and switch on “Desktop site” to see the full page.

Candidates should keep an eye on the IAUE website, where clearance requirements and procedures are posted and updated.
