AFUSTA Aliero Releases Second Batch of 2026/2027 Admission List
Share

Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology, Aliero (AFUSTA) has published the second batch of candidates offered provisional admission for the 2026/2027 academic session. The list covers both UTME and Direct Entry candidates and is dated 22 October 2026.

The university was formerly known as Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero. The notice carries both names, so don’t be thrown off if the old name or “ksusta” shows up on your documents or the portal link.

What the university announced

The notice comes from the Office of the Registrar (Admission Unit) under reference number AFUSTA/R/ACAD.6/VOL.2 and is signed by Abubakar Usman Kalgo, Admission Officer. Each candidate on the list has been offered provisional admission for the course written beside their name.

The university gives candidates three instructions:

  1. Check your JAMB profile to accept the admission being offered.
  2. Print the JAMB online Admission Letter as evidence of approved admission.
  3. Print your JAMB result (or DE slip) and keep it for your records.

On registration, candidates are told to visit their account on the university applicant portal at https://applicant.safapply.com/ksusta. The registration date will be posted there once the University Senate approves it.

How big is the list

The document runs to 15 pages. By its own numbering, it has 332 UTME entries and 13 Direct Entry entries.

On the UTME side, Biology has the most names at 51, followed by Microbiology (24), Computer Science (23), and Agriculture and Biochemistry (22 each). Education & Computer Science has 21, Library & Information Science 13, Mathematics 12, and Civil Engineering and Information & Communication Technology 11 each. Medicine & Surgery has 14 names and Nursing Science 11.

The Direct Entry list is much shorter. Civil Engineering takes 8 of the 13 names, and Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information & Communication Technology and Mechanical Engineering have one each.

Since this is the second batch, an earlier list exists. If your name was missing from the first one, check this one carefully. The notice does not say whether more batches will follow.

What to do if your name is on the list

  • Match your details exactly. Compare your JAMB registration number, name and course with the entry in the list. If anything looks wrong, contact the Admission Unit early instead of waiting for registration to open.
  • Accept the admission on your JAMB profile. The university’s notice asks for this, so don’t leave it for later.
  • Print your admission letter and result slip. Keep several copies, plus a digital copy, because you will likely need them during registration.
  • Use only the official portal. Fake admission and registration pages spread quickly during admission season. Use the portal link in the university’s notice and avoid agents who promise to speed things up for a fee.
  • Check the portal often. The registration date has not been announced yet.

What the notice does not say

The notice does not give a registration date, fees, an acceptance deadline, a resumption date, or any screening or document verification requirements. Provisional admission generally means the offer depends on the university’s own registration and documentation requirements, so wait for official announcements before you plan your travel or payments.

The full list of names and courses is in the official PDF, which you can get from the university’s channels. Candidates should always confirm their status there instead of relying on screenshots or word of mouth.
